I purchased my 2000 Civic Type R chassis from N1 Concepts in South San Francisco and started my build right away.  The exterior was pretty complete.  It already had an Air Walker front bumper and Shift Sport fenders.  The car did come with a spoon spoiler, but I figured as my track car I would need something that provided real down force, so it was swapped out for a Cusco GT Spoiler.  

The first thing to go was the CTR 32mm 5 lug.  I swapped it for the 36mm '98 Spec ITR 5 lug and added new wheel bearings, ARP extended wheel studs, spherical rear trailing arm bushings, Spoon calipers, and Project Mu ss brake lines.  

The shell came with no front seats, or steering wheel.  I picked up a pair of Bride Brix, and added a Works Bell quick release hub w/lock and a personal steering wheel.

I decided to tackle the engine bay next.  Because I was doing a K swap on this car and using the HASport EKK2 mount kit, I removed the EK9 sub frame, steering rack and front lower control arms and reinstalled a JDM ITR sub frame, front lca's, steering rack, and sway bar.  I was ready to put the motor in (or so I thought).  Positioning the K20 in the engine bay I realized that the header will not clear the ABS pump.  I removed the entire ABS unit and proportioning valve.  I picked up a non-ABS CTR prop valve from N1, but I had to purchase new hard lines from Honda.  

The engine itself was out of a '06 RSX Type S with only 3400 miles.  On the engine I installed a RCrew Racing header, RCrew 3" exhaust, RCrew PnP harness, Earls fuel fitting and a RCrew fuel rail.  I pulled the transmission apart and installed a Mugen LSD with some ATS FF Fluid.  I finally get to rip the car around the track this weekend at Willow Springs "big willow" Track!
